In 2019, Reema Mahajan Just Landed In Dubai. She Made A Facebook Group To Connect With Like-Minded Women Through The Platform. The Ladies Gathered For A Coffee Date And Eventually, The Network Started Expanding.

In no time, this took the shape of a highly-engaging community. For the Indian women who contributed to the growing potential of the group, INDIAN WOMEN IN DUBAI went on to become the largest community group of expat women in UAE (United Arab Emirates).

Reema’s vision to empower women comes from her upbringing. Hailing from a conservative family in a small town in India, she realized the value family support held for a woman to chase her dreams. She got that support, and now, she wanted to be that support to fellow women globally.

Nobody uplifts women as women do. With this agenda, IWD has created a safe space to impact women and uplift them to achieve big. It has grown exponentially into an exclusive network dedicated to women, run by women, for the women.

IWD Empowers Over 150,000 Women Across the UAE

Indian Women in Dubai (IWD) fosters a vibrant community that includes entrepreneurs, corporate professionals, industry experts, artists, designers, and homemakers. With more than 1,000 events, IWD has empowered over 5,000 woman-preneurs to grow their businesses and establish a robust customer base. As a platform, IWD not only facilitates social connections but also enhances business opportunities by linking women across all major digital platforms.

She conducts interviews with inspiring women who share their struggles and journeys to be the role model they are today. The guests include Shreya Pattar, Harnidh, RJ Karishma, and many more.
